The project studies social rules and their impact on violence against migrant women. It also evaluates the effectiveness of methods of social change. A study is being conducted to understand how laws affect domestic violence among migrants.
Focus groups bringing together women and men are organized to gather varied perspectives. In-depth interviews with experts are also conducted to enrich the understanding of the subject. The project creates a European guide to assess social standards on domestic violence with quantitative methods. Additionally, training materials, including online training (MOOC), are designed for training professionals. Finally, field tests are carried out to use the tools created in three different locations for four months.
The project aims to increase professionals‘ knowledge of the risks of mistreatment within migrant couples. Professionals will gain a better understanding of the risks of mistreatment within couples among migrants.
Professional training : 50 people will learn to better understand the risks of mistreatment in migrant couples and their culture of origin.
